Senior React Native Developer (E-commerce Mobile App)
Location: hyderabad (On-site/Hybrid)
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to take technical ownership of our flagship cross-platform e-commerce mobile application. You’ll define the technical strategy, ensure peak performance during heavy traffic (e.g., flash sales), and lead complex feature development — from secure payments to real-time inventory synchronization.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, maintainable architectures using React Native, TypeScript, and modern state management solutions.
- Technical Strategy: Drive key technical decisions — tool selection, library adoption, and architectural evolution.
- Performance Optimization: Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks to optimize load times, rendering, and memory usage on both iOS and Android.
- System Integration: Lead integration of back-end services, including secure payment gateways, real-time inventory systems, and personalized recommendation engines (GraphQL/advanced REST).
- Mentorship & Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, uphold coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Deployment & CI/CD: Oversee app releases on App Store and Google Play, and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years in React Native.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of React Native component lifecycle, custom native modules, and platform-specific code (iOS/Android).
- Proven experience in state management (Redux Toolkit, MobX, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of mobile security best practices, particularly around authentication and payments.
- Hands-on experience with Jest (unit testing) and Detox (E2E testing).
- Solid understanding of e-commerce flows — advanced product filtering, multi-step checkout, and conversion optimization.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Prior leadership or technical architect experience.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Firebase).
