Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
- Maintain and calibrate control valves, actuators, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of machinery by coordinating with mechanical and electrical teams.
- Diagnose faults in machinery and instrumentation systems and implement corrective actions.
- Execute calibration schedules and maintain proper documentation and records.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new instruments and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Minimize downtime by quick response and effective maintenance strategies.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred).
- Understanding of SCADA/DCS systems.
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams and technical drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of calibration tools and techniques.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and machinery maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in manufacturing / chemical / pharmaceutical / oil & gas industries.
- Exposure to automation systems and industrial machinery maintenance.
