Job Summary
Blue Monkfish Private Limited is looking for a creative and experienced Senior Video Editor & Animation Designer with 5+ years of professional experience in video editing, animation, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in creating engaging video content for social media, digital marketing campaigns, advertisements, websites, and branding projects.
A strong portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, websites, advertisements, and branding.
- Create engaging animations, motion graphics, 2D animations, and visual effects.
- Develop creative video concepts and transform ideas into engaging visual content.
- Create reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, explainer videos, and branded content.
- Add transitions, effects, sound design, music, subtitles, and other elements to enhance video quality.
- Create animated graphics, titles, logos, typography, and other visual assets.
- Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and content teams to understand project requirements.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, animation, motion graphics, and social media content.
- Review and improve video content based on feedback.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in video editing and animation.
- Strong knowledge of video editing and animation principles.
- Excellent understanding of motion graphics, transitions, visual effects, and storytelling.
- Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong creative and visual design skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Preferred Software Skills
Experience with any of the following tools:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- DaVinci Resolve
- Blender or other 3D animation software is a plus
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing and animation work.
- Experience working on social media content, advertisements, branding videos, and promotional content.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and deliver high-quality visual content.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work from our office in Mohali.
