The Pre-Primary In charge is responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative functioning of the pre-primary section. The role focuses on ensuring a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment for young children while supporting teachers and maintaining curriculum standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field
- Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE/NTT/Montessori preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in pre-primary
- Prior leadership or coordination experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
1)Academic Leadership
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum (Playgroup, Nursery, LKG, UKG).
2. Staff Management
- Supervise and guide pre-primary teachers and support staff.
- Conduct staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of teachers.
- Promote teamwork and a positive work culture.
3. Student Development & Welfare
- Ensure a safe, caring, and child-friendly environment.
- Monitor students’ overall development (social, emotional, cognitive, and physical).
- Address behavioral or developmental concerns in coordination with parents and teachers.
4. Parent Communication
- Organize parent-teacher meetings (PTMs).
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Handle parent queries and concerns effectively.
5. Administration & Coordination
- Maintain records related to attendance, assessments, and activities.
- Coordinate events, celebrations, and school functions.
- Ensure classrooms and play areas are well-maintained and safe.
- Manage timetable, daily schedules, and resource allocation.
- Monitor lesson plans, teaching methods, and classroom activities.
- Ensure effective use of teaching aids and activity-based learning.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers.
