Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support the Accounts & Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in maintaining cash and petty cash records.
- Verify bills, invoices, and expense claims before processing.
- Assist in preparing monthly and periodic financial reports.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Assist the senior accounts team during audits and financial closing.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding bills, payments, and financial documents.
- Ensure accounting entries are accurate and completed within timelines.
- Perform any other accounting-related duties assigned by the management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting; freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of Tally / accounting software is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory accounting procedures.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
