About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planner to design, plan, and organize memorable events in Kolkata, West Bengal. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, developing event concepts, and managing the complete planning process from ideation to execution support.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple events while ensuring smooth coordination with vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and develop event concepts and themes
- Plan and design end-to-end event execution strategies
- Create event timelines, budgets, and planning documents
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and service providers
- Research and recommend creative ideas for event design and execution
- Manage event logistics planning and resource allocation
- Collaborate with Event Managers and Coordinators for execution
- Monitor event progress and ensure planning accuracy
- Ensure all client expectations are met within budget and timeline
- Prepare event proposals and presentations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience as an Event Planner or similar role
- Strong creativity and conceptual thinking ability
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of budgeting and vendor management basics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate events, weddings, exhibitions, or brand activations
- Strong understanding of event design and styling concepts
- Familiarity with planning tools or presentation software
- Ability to convert ideas into detailed execution plans
