Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Godown Manager / Store In-Charge to manage our warehouse operations and support daily business activities. The ideal candidate should be a multi-tasking individual who can handle inventory, loading/unloading, stock maintenance, dispatch coordination, and general warehouse management efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily godown and warehouse operations.
- Receive, check, and organize incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate stock and inventory records.
- Coordinate loading, unloading, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of laminates, veneers, louvers, and decorative materials.
- Keep the godown clean, organized, and secure.
- Assist showroom and sales team with material availability and stock updates.
- Monitor stock movement and report shortages or damages.
- Coordinate with transporters, suppliers, and delivery staff.
- Handle basic documentation, invoices, and stock registers.
- Support management with any operational tasks when required. Warehouse and godown managers.
- Oversee inventory control, receiving, storage, dispatch, and staff coordination to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 10th / 12th Pass. (Preferred)
- Previous experience in warehouse, godown, store, or inventory management preferred.
- Basic knowledge of stock handling and record keeping.
- Ability to lift and manage materials when required.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Honest, punctual, and responsible attitude.
- Must be willing to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
