About the Role
We are looking for a Technical SEO & AI Growth Lead to drive organic growth, AI discoverability, and brand visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI platforms. This role will own SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives to ensure our products are easily discoverable, accurately understood, and consistently cited by AI systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies to improve organic traffic, AI citations, and user acquisition.

Partner with Engineering teams to optimize crawlability, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and technical performance.

Implement and manage structured data, schema markup, knowledge graph optimization, and AI-readable content frameworks.

Monitor brand visibility, citations, and recommendations across AI-powered search and discovery platforms.

Lead keyword, topic, and prompt-level research to identify growth opportunities and emerging search trends.

Design content frameworks optimized for AI retrieval, answer generation, and citation, including Q&A formats, modular content blocks, and RAG-friendly structures.

Drive off-site authority building through digital PR, third-party mentions, communities, forums, YouTube, and industry publications.

Establish reporting frameworks and growth experiments to measure search performance, AI discoverability, citation share, and conversion impact.

Collaborate closely with Product, Content, and Growth teams to scale acquisition and market presence.
Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Technical SEO, Organic Growth, Search Strategy, or Growth Marketing.

Strong expertise in technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, robots.txt, site migrations, site speed optimization, and Core Web Vitals.

Deep understanding of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Experience optimizing websites and content for AI-driven discovery platforms and LLM-powered search experiences.

Strong knowledge of NLP concepts, LLM behavior, prompt-driven discovery, and AI content retrieval mechanisms.

Hands-on experience with Schema Markup, JSON-LD, Knowledge Graph optimization, and structured data implementation.

Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and related analytics tools.

Strong analytical skills with experience tracking search visibility, AI citations, brand mentions, and growth metrics.

Experience building topical authority through content strategy, digital PR, and external citation acquisition.

Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in AI, SaaS, or high-growth technology startups.

Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and AI content optimization strategies.
