Role Overview
- As Sr. Engineer is a technical specialist responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation systems.
- These engineers act as on-site experts, providing critical troubleshooting and support for complex hardware and software environments, including PLCs, HMI and SCADA systems.
- The role is pivotal in ensuring the operational efficiency of manufacturing plants and process industries by managing both new installations and existing site upgrades.
What Were Looking For
- Support factory & Process automation after sales activities like field service, Troubleshooting, Retrofit of old system, maintenance contracts, Digital service support & execution.
- Candidate must be a engineering graduate with minimum 1-3 years of experience or Diploma with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in Siemens automation products like Simatic S7, Mitsubishi is a must have for this role
Core Responsibilities: Includes the full lifecycle of automation equipment from initial installation and commissioning to routine maintenance and emergency troubleshooting.
Technical Software Proficiency: Mastery of Siemens-specific tools such as TIA Portal, Step7, WinCC is essential for programming and diagnostics.
Mastery of Mitsubishi-specific tools such as GX Works, GT Designer is essential for programming and diagnostics.
Hardware Expertise: Engineers work with a wide range of products including S7-400/1200/1500 PLCs, WINCC SCADA , Q / R /FX5 PLC/ FX PLC/ GS/GT and network communication products.
Educational Background: A Bachelors degree (BE/B.Tech) or Diploma Or B.Sc is typically required.
Experience Levels: Professional roles generally require between 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in field service or automation engineering.
