Job Summary
The Spare Parts Assistant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the spare parts department by receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory. The role ensures the availability of genuine spare parts for the service workshop and sales team while maintaining accurate stock records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving and unloading spare parts from suppliers.
- Verify the quantity and condition of received parts against invoices.
- Arrange spare parts systematically in designated storage locations.
- Issue spare parts to technicians and service advisors as per job cards.
- Support the Spare In-Charge in maintaining optimum inventory levels.
- Update stock movements in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Assist in conducting daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification.
- Identify and report damaged, slow-moving, or non-moving spare parts.
- Ensure proper labeling and cleanliness of the spare parts store.
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely availability of required parts.
- Help prepare purchase requisitions for low-stock items.
- Follow company policies on inventory control and stock handling.
- Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward stock transactions.
- Support warranty and return processes as instructed by the Spare In-Charge.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Any Degree
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel & DMS preferred)
- Experience in automobile spare parts is preferred (Freshers can also apply)
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
