Factory Storekeeper – Job Description
Job Title: Factory Storekeeper / Store In-Charge
Location: Rajpur-Indrad Road, At. Irana-382715, Taluko-Kadi
Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods. Maintain accurate inward and outward entries in stock registers or inventory systems. Issue materials to production departments as per approved requirements. Maintain stock registers, inventory records, and all store-related documentation. Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production. Conduct regular physical stock verification and inventory audits. Ensure proper storage, labeling, handling, and safety of all materials. Coordinate with the purchase, production, accounts, and dispatch departments for smooth material flow. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and inventory reports. Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety standards in the store area. Handle GRN (Goods Receipt Note), challans, invoices, and related store documentation. Manage incoming material unloading, handling, and transport/vehicle arrangements. Ensure proper management and control of incoming inventory. Perform stock analysis and generate material requisitions based on consumption patterns and stock levels. Minimize material loss, wastage, and inventory discrepancies. Stock analysis: Determine the minimum and maximum manageable stock levels to generate requisitions based on the stock analysis
Key Skills & Requirements: Sound knowledge of factory and store operations. Proficiency in inventory control and stock management. Basic computer proficiency with good knowledge of MS Excel. Familiarity with ERP software will be an added advantage. Strong organizational, documentation, and record-maintenance skills. Must possess and be able to operate a two-wheeler.
Qualifications: Graduate or Diploma holder in any discipline. Certification in Store or Warehouse Management will be preferred.
Experience: 1–5 years of experience in factory/store operations preferred. Freshers with basic operational knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred Industry Background: Manufacturing, Engineering, Automobile, Textile, FMCG, or Packaging industries.
