We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented Automation & Operations Intern to help us build, maintain, and improve the systems and workflows that run our business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys figuring out “How can we automate this?”, cleaning up messy processes, experimenting with new tools, and making systems work better.
What you'll work on
- Outreach operations: Schedule outreach to potential clients/leads and candidates using our internal tools.
- Automation: Set up and maintain automation workflows using different no-code/low-code and AI automation tools.
- Database management: Maintain and clean our CRM and candidate databases across Google Sheets and Baserow.
- Data hygiene: Clean, standardise, deduplicate, and organise data across multiple sources while keeping our databases reliable.
- Generative AI: Use AI tools to create agreement templates, customised infographics, personalised write-ups, and other business materials.
- Process improvement: Identify repetitive, inefficient, or messy workflows and help us make them simpler, more reliable, and more automated.
- Ongoing maintenance: Keep our systems organised so that automation and data don't gradually become chaotic.
Who we're looking for
You don't need to be an expert in automation tools. We’ll train you on the tools and workflows we use.
What matters much more is that you:
- Are genuinely curious about automation, AI, and technology
- Enjoy experimenting with new tools and figuring things out independently
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Are comfortable working with messy data and bringing structure to it
- Are organised and systematic in your approach
- Can follow processes carefully and spot inconsistencies
- Are willing to learn tools you haven't used before
- Have a “there must be a better way to do this” mindset
- Can work independently and take ownership of small projects
Prior experience with tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, ChatGPT, Claude, Google Sheets, Baserow, Airtable, or AI coding tools is a bonus, but not a requirement.
