Job Title: Academic Counselor
Location: Tirunelveli
Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide prospective students through course selection, admissions, and enrollment processes. The role involves counseling students, understanding their career goals, and recommending suitable training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents about courses, career paths, and training programs
- Handle walk-ins, inquiries, and leads generated through calls, emails, and digital platforms
- Explain course details, fees, duration, and placement support clearly
- Convert inquiries into enrollments and achieve admission targets
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in CRM/ERP systems
- Follow up with prospective students to ensure timely admissions
- Coordinate with trainers and academic teams for batch schedules
- Participate in seminars, workshops, and promotional events
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities
- Ability to understand student needs and provide career guidance
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
- Goal-oriented and result-driven mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any Graduate / Postgraduate
- Experience in educational counseling or sales is an added advantage
