Job Purpose
To perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure smooth operation of yarn manufacturing machines with minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of spinning machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults promptly.
- Replace and maintain bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, and other mechanical components.
- Assist in installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Follow maintenance schedules and maintain service records.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
- Support TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- ITI (Fitter) – Mandatory
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – Preferred

- Mechanical fitting and assembly
