Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced electrical MEP design engineer responsible for designing, planning, and executing electrical systems for commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be involved in electrical load calculations, lighting design, power distribution, earthing, lightning protection systems, and coordination with other MEP disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical design drawings, layouts, and detailed engineering documents for MEP projects.
- Perform electrical load calculations and sizing of transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, cables, and switchgear.
- Design power distribution systems and firefighting, including HT/LT panels, MDB, SMDB, and DB layouts.
- Prepare lighting layouts, lighting calculations, and lux level analysis.
- Design earthing and lightning protection systems as per applicable standards.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic drawings, and electrical room layouts.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and architectural teams.
- Review client specifications, consultant drawings, and project requirements.
- Prepare BOQ/BOM and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, IS, IEC, NEC, and local electrical regulations.
- Support site execution teams with technical clarifications and design modifications.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in electrical MEP design.
- Experience in commercial buildings, residential towers, hospitals, industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with Revit MEP is preferred.
- Knowledge of Dialux/Evo for lighting calculations.
- Familiarity with ETAP, Ecodial, or similar electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of HT/LT systems, power distribution, and electrical safety standards.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in large-scale building projects.
- Knowledge of green building standards (LEED/IGBC).
- Exposure to BIM coordination.
- Strong project coordination and communication skills.

Pay: ₹11,114.94 - ₹54,184.03 per month
