Senior Design Engineer (m/f/d)
Your job:
• Develop, analyze, and evaluate mechanical components, sub-modules, and assemblies (2D/3D, SAP data, datasheets) • Conduct preliminary investigations and technical feasibility studies for components, assemblies, and processes • Handle change processes and optimize existing technical documents (drawings, datasheets)
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing technical information
• Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met in accordance with company policies and procedures • Cooperate with internal development teams and business units to clarify technical requirements
• Demonstrate creativity, flexibility, and initiative while meeting Festo standards of quality and accuracy • Promote team spirit, work effectively both independently and collaboratively, and proactively expand professional abilities
Your qualification:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and product development
• Hands-on design experience with manufacturing technologies including machining, investment casting, die casting, injection molding, and post-processing
• Proficiency in (GD&T), PTC Creo (2D and 3D), PTC Windchill, and engineering codes and standards (ISO, DIN, ASME) is expected • Exposure to pneumatic products is desirable
• Experience in product design and ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
