Job Description: Data Analyst / Power BI Developer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Data Analyst / Power BI Developer with expertise in Power BI, SQL, DAX, data modeling, and data visualization. The role involves developing dashboards, analyzing data, creating reports, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Dashboard Development
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create effective data visualizations, KPI dashboards, and business reports.
- Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations as per business requirements.
- Optimize dashboard performance and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Create and maintain data models following BI best practices.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights.
- Prepare analytical reports to support business decision-making.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Automate repetitive reporting processes to improve efficiency.
- Implement scheduled data refreshes and reporting workflows.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and reduce manual efforts.
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics / Power BI Development.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in query optimization.
- Good understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design.
- Experience in developing business reports and KPI dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP or business application data sources.
- Knowledge of Power Automate for reporting automation.
- Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Power BI Development.
