Key Responsibilities :-
- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments.
- Conduct quality checks as per control plans and inspection standards.
- Maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
- Record non-conformities and report deviations from specifications.
- Update quality check sheets and inspection logs.
- Use measuring tools such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, and other inspection equipment.
- Ensure instruments are calibrated and used correctly.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Identify defects and communicate issues to the production team.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing industry.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of quality standards and documentation.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
