ABOUT HIQ WEDDINGS
HiQ Weddings is a premium wedding photography and cinematography company with 1,000+ weddings captured. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our post-production team and help transform wedding footage into beautiful, emotional and engaging films that tell a story.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit wedding films, highlights, reels and social media videos from raw footage.
- Create engaging edits that capture the emotion, energy and story of each wedding.
- Organise and manage video footage, project files, music, graphics and assets efficiently.
- Select the best shots and create a strong visual flow, pacing and narrative.
- Sync and edit multi-camera footage and audio where required.
- Perform basic colour correction, colour grading, sound design and audio mixing.
- Add appropriate music, transitions, text, titles and other creative elements.
- Create short-form content such as Instagram Reels and other social media edits.
- Work closely with senior editors, cinematographers and the creative team to understand the desired style and deliverables.
- Take feedback positively and make revisions within deadlines.
- Ensure all final videos meet HiQ Weddings' quality and creative standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing or post-production.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Familiarity with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or other editing/motion graphics software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of editing, storytelling, pacing, music and visual composition.
- A strong eye for detail and an appreciation for premium visual aesthetics.
- Ability to select the right shots and create emotion through editing.
- Good understanding of social media video formats, especially Instagram Reels.
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Open to feedback, willing to learn and constantly improve.
- A creative mindset with a genuine interest in weddings, films, photography and visual storytelling.
