Mugage Automations is looking for an experienced Freelance Shopify Developer to work on eCommerce projects for our clients. We are seeking someone who can independently set up, customise, and deliver Shopify stores with high-quality standards and within project timelines.
This is a project-based opportunity with the possibility of long-term collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Set up and configure Shopify stores
- Install and customise Shopify themes
- Create responsive and user-friendly storefronts
- Configure products, collections, variants, and inventory
- Set up payment gateways and shipping methods
- Configure taxes and store settings
- Integrate third-party Shopify apps
- Customise themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when required
- Optimise store performance and mobile responsiveness
- Perform testing before project delivery
- Provide technical support during project implementation
Required Skills
- Proven experience developing Shopify websites
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Admin
- Experience with Shopify themes and Liquid
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Understanding of Shopify APIs (preferred)
- Experience with payment gateway integrations
- Knowledge of inventory and order management
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Shopify project portfolio
- Experience with Shopify Plus (optional)
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify
- Experience with app integrations and custom features
