The primary role and responsibilities of a Research and Development Intern (Thermal Analyst):

Analysis of cell’s thermal characteristics.

MATLAB/Simulink model.

Implementing different cooling methods.
-
Prepare calculation models and verification of the preliminary design of BTMS.

Develop scaled-down prototypes, prepare test scenarios, and conduct validation tests.

Correlate test data with the theoretical model
-
Prepare full-scale prototype, integration with vehicle and field testing.
Qualifications and Skills Required:

Electrical /Mechanical /Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).

Basic knowledge of the battery’s thermal management system.

Battery cooling method, heat management.
-
Knowledge about adhesives.
-
Keen knowledge about different materials along with their characteristics.
-
In-depth knowledge of mechanical as well as electrical fields.
-
Basic knowledge about lithium-ion batteries.
-
Problem-solving, innovative thinking, and reasoning skills.

Excellent organizational & planning skills to meet agreed project deadlines
