Role Purpose
The Merchandiser is responsible for coordinating customer orders from order confirmation to shipment, ensuring timely material availability, production follow-up, quality compliance, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with buyers and internal teams.
- Follow up on orders from development to shipment.
- Plan and track production timelines.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Cutting, Production, Quality, and Stores.
- Monitor raw material and trim availability.
- Ensure buyer specifications are followed.
- Track order status and production progress.
- Resolve production and delivery issues.
- Prepare T&A (Time & Action) calendars.
- Maintain merchandising documents and reports.
- Support sample development and approvals.
- Ensure on-time order execution and shipment.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Textile, Apparel, Fashion, or a related field.
Experience
- 3-6 years of experience in garment merchandising.
- Knowledge of woven/knit garment manufacturing and buyer requirements is preferred.
