The Construction Purchase Executive focuses on day-to-day material procurement for active construction sites. They ensure that engineers and laborers have the necessary supplies to keep the project moving without delay.
- Material Requisitions: Review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and site requisitions from project engineers to understand exact material requirements.
- Order Placement: Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) for standard construction materials like bricks, sand, aggregate, plumbing fixtures, and safety gear.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the transport and delivery of heavy materials to the site, ensuring offloading equipment (like cranes or forklifts) is ready.
- Site Verification: Work closely with Site Stores and Quality Control (QC) teams to verify that delivered materials match the requested grades and quantities.
- Equipment Rental: Coordinate the short-term hiring of construction machinery, tools, and temporary site scaffolding.
- Invoice Reconciliation: Match delivery challans with POs and invoices, resolve discrepancies, and submit clean paperwork to the finance team for payment processing.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
