A General Duty Assistant provides basic patient care and support services in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities under the supervision of nurses and doctors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Help transfer patients between beds, wheelchairs, and examination areas
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms and equipment.
- Assist in transporting patients, specimens, and medical records.
- Support nurses during patient care procedures.
- Ensure proper infection control and safety practices.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma in General Duty Assistant or Healthcare Assistance.
- Basic knowledge of patient care and hygiene practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
