Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Technical Project Manager with deep expertise in frontend engineering, modern web development, and Agile project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React.js, JavaScript ecosystems, and enterprise web applications, along with proven experience managing distributed engineering teams and delivering large-scale digital transformation projects.
This role requires a blend of technical leadership, project execution, stakeholder management, and people leadership. You will work closely with engineering teams, architects, QA, DevOps, product owners, and business stakeholders to drive successful delivery of high-impact frontend platforms and digital applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale web and frontend application projects.
- Define project scope, milestones, timelines, delivery plans, and resource allocation.
- Manage multiple Agile teams across frontend engineering, QA, and DevOps functions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor project health using metrics such as sprint velocity, burn-down, defect trends, and release readiness.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and drive mitigation strategies proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, engineering practices, and Agile execution.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical direction for frontend architecture and modern web application development.
- Work closely with engineering teams on React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frontend frameworks.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-performing applications.
- Guide teams on frontend best practices, reusable components, responsive design, and performance optimization.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, sprint planning, and solutioning sessions.
- Ensure seamless integration between frontend applications and backend APIs/services.
Agile & SDLC Management
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups, and release planning.
- Own execution across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, code quality, testing practices, and release governance.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between frontend, backend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
- Manage change requests, scope prioritization, and delivery expectations.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery updates to leadership teams.
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams with strong ownership culture.
- Support career development, performance management, and technical upskilling of team members.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across teams.
Quality & Engineering Excellence
- Ensure implementation of robust testing strategies for frontend applications.
- Collaborate with QA teams on automation, integration testing, and performance validation.
- Promote engineering best practices including CI/CD, code reviews, automation, and DevOps culture.
- Ensure high-quality releases with focus on scalability, security, usability, and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in software development and technical project management.
- Strong experience managing frontend/web application development projects.
- Hands-on technical background in:
- React.js
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- HTML5 & CSS3
- Modern frontend frameworks and web technologies
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, responsive design, and SPA development.
- Experience managing Agile engineering teams in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile delivery models.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- CI/CD platforms
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Node.js and API-driven architectures.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization and accessibility standards.
- Experience managing digital transformation or customer-facing web platforms.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and QA processes.
- Experience in scalable enterprise product development environments.
