Freelance BIM MEP Trainer (Electrical – Data Center Projects) About ACTMEP
ACTMEP is a leading EdTech company specializing in MEP Engineering, BIM, and Digital Construction training. We help engineering students and working professionals develop industry-ready skills through practical, project-based learning and real-world applications.
We are looking for an experienced Freelance BIM MEP Trainer with a strong Electrical Engineering background and hands-on experience in Data Centre design and BIM project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live online training sessions on BIM MEP Electrical systems.
- Train students and working professionals on BIM workflows, standards, and project execution.
- Develop and deliver project-based training focused on Data Centre electrical systems.
- Explain electrical design concepts including power distribution, lighting, grounding, cable routing, and low-voltage systems.
- Provide practical training using BIM software and industry workflows.
- Create assignments, exercises, case studies, and project deliverables.
- Mentor learners and answer technical queries during training sessions.
- Review student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with industry trends, BIM standards, and Data Centre design practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in Electrical Design and BIM Projects.
- Proven experience working on Data Centre projects.
- Strong understanding of BIM execution processes and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience in preparing electrical BIM models, documentation, and construction deliverables.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Prior teaching, mentoring, or corporate training experience is preferred.
