Job Description:
Areve Electronics is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer with a Diploma in Electronics Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our security surveillance and office automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras, surveillance systems, EPABX systems, GPS tracking devices, alarm systems, attendance record systems, and other electronic equipment at client sites.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of installed systems to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements of faulty components to restore equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
- Provide on-site training and support to clients on the use and operation of installed systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and confidence.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide technical expertise and recommendations for system solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, installation logs, and inventory management.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends, product developments, and industry best practices to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while working on-site to ensure a safe and secure environment for both clients and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the installation and servicing of electronic security surveillance and office automation systems.
- Strong technical knowledge and practical skills in electronics, including understanding of circuit diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software applications for system analysis and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
