We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, story-driven videos that connect emotionally with audiences.
Job Description
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content including vlogs, YouTube videos, reels, and short-form content. You should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual creativity while meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce engaging YouTube videos, vlogs, reels, and short-form content
- Arrange and synchronize video footage, background music, sound effects, and voiceovers
- Apply color correction, transitions, filters, effects, and motion elements
- Enhance storytelling through proper pacing, rhythm, and visual flow
- Optimize videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
- Create thumbnails, title cards, and basic graphics
- Manage video files, timelines, and project folders efficiently
- Collaborate closely with content creators and the production team
- Ensure consistent quality while meeting project deadlines
Required Skills & Expertise
✅ Video Editing Software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
✅ Motion Graphics: Basic knowledge of After Effects preferred
✅ Audio Editing: Sound syncing, noise reduction, background music balancing
✅ Color Grading: LUTs and manual color correction
✅ Storytelling Skills: Strong sense of flow, timing, and emotional impact
✅ Graphic Design: Thumbnail & title card creation (Photoshop / Canva)
✅ Platform Knowledge: YouTube formats, Instagram Reels, Shorts trends
✅ Attention to Detail: Smooth transitions, audio balance, visual consistency
✅ Creativity: Ability to adapt editing style based on content and audience
✅ Communication: Clear coordination with filming and content teams
Qualification
- Minimum 12th Pass or Graduate
- Diploma or certification in Video Editing, Film, Media, or related field preferred
- 1+ year of professional video editing experience
- (YouTube, vlogs, or social media content experience preferred)
