We are looking for a skilled and experienced Stitching Master to lead our tailoring team and ensure top-quality garment production.
Key Responsibilities
Cut, stitch, and finish garments as per design specifications and customer measurements
Supervise and guide a team of tailors and helpers to ensure quality and timely output
Take accurate body measurements and translate designs into patterns
Handle alterations and fittings for customers
Ensure quality control on every piece before delivery
Manage fabric cutting to minimize wastage
Coordinate with the design team to bring sketches/concepts to life
Maintain stitching machines and report maintenance needs
Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality benchmarks
Required Skills
Strong hands-on expertise in cutting, stitching, and pattern-making
Experience with bridal wear / ethnic wear / western outfits
Knowledge of different fabric types and their handling
Skilled in hand embroidery finishing, lining, and embellishment work
Ability to read and interpret design sketches
Leadership skills to manage a small tailoring team
Attention to detail and quality-consciousness
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a tailor/master tailor, preferably in a boutique or garment unit
Prior experience in a supervisory/lead tailoring role preferred
