Job Summary
The IT Head will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's overall IT infrastructure, systems, networks, cybersecurity, software applications, and digital transformation initiatives. The role requires strategic planning, team leadership, technology implementation, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Plan, manage, and monitor IT budgets, resources, and technology investments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives.
Infrastructure & Network Management
- Oversee servers, networks, data centers, cloud infrastructure, and IT assets.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
- Manage system upgrades, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Monitor network performance and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Establish and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Ensure protection against cyber threats, malware, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IT regulations and industry standards.
Software & ERP Management
- Manage ERP, CRM, HRMS, and other enterprise applications.
- Coordinate software development, implementation, and integration projects.
- Ensure application performance, data integrity, and user support.
- Work with vendors and service providers for software solutions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct training programs to enhance technical capabilities.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
IT Support & Service Delivery
- Ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
- Establish IT service standards and support processes.
- Monitor helpdesk performance and user satisfaction.
- Maintain IT documentation and asset records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's Degree/MBA (Preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CCNA, MCSE, AWS, Azure, or equivalent are preferred.
