Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Any Discipline (B.Com / BBA / BA / B.Sc)
- Basic knowledge of computer operations and MS Office
- Good communication skills in local language, English, and Hindi preferred
- Freshers can apply (training will be provided)
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in hospital or customer service preferred
- Freshers with good communication and interpersonal skills may be considered
Job Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for managing the hospital front desk operations, welcoming patients and visitors, assisting with patient registration, and providing information about hospital services. The role requires maintaining a professional and courteous environment in accordance with hospital policies and **National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers standards.
Roles & Responsibilities1. Patient Registration
- Register patients for OPD consultation and hospital services.
- Verify patient details and create patient records in hospital management system.
2. Patient Assistance
- Welcome and guide patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
- Provide information regarding doctor availability, departments, and hospital services.
3. Appointment Management
- Schedule and manage doctor appointments.
- Inform patients about consultation timings and waiting periods.
4. Communication
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide necessary information.
5. Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and other departments for smooth patient service.
- Assist patients with directions and departmental locations.
6. Documentation
- Maintain proper patient registration records and reports.
- Ensure accuracy in data entry and patient information.
7. Billing Support
- Assist patients with consultation billing and payment procedures when required.
- Guide patients to the billing department for further services.
8. Patient Service & Hospitality
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming environment at the hospital reception.
- Ensure patients receive prompt assistance and support.
9. Compliance
- Follow hospital policies and National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
