Core responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Supervise and ensure compliance with all day-to-day F&B operations, including shift management.
- Staff Management: Train, supervise, and manage F&B staff.
- Quality and Standards: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards for all food and beverage services to meet customer expectations.
- Budget and Profitability: Manage the operating budget, monitor costs, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Purchasing and Inventory: Oversee the purchasing of supplies and manage inventory levels.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and legal standards and policies.
- Menu Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of menus.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining standards and addressing issues.
Typical educational requirements
- Bachelor's degree: A four-year degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is the most common requirement.
Experience and certifications
- Experience: Most senior roles require 10 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional areas.
- Certifications: Professional certifications, such as in food safety and responsible service, are highly beneficial and sometimes required.
- On-the-job training: Extensive on-the-job training in various food service roles can substitute for formal education, especially for candidates who work their way up from entry-level positions.
Additional qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills are essential.
- Experience with inventory management, budgeting, and scheduling is also key to the role.
Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
