We are looking for enthusiastic interns who are passionate about manufacturing and electric vehicles and are eager to gain practical industry experience on the production floor.
Job Summary
The Production & Shop Floor Intern will work closely with the Production Team and assist in daily manufacturing activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to assembly, fabrication, inventory handling, quality inspection, machine operations, and production planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day shop floor manufacturing activities.
- Support assembly and fabrication of products and components.
- Help maintain production records and daily activity logs.
- Assist in inventory management and material movement.
- Support quality inspection of manufactured parts.
- Ensure tools and workstations are organized and clean.
- Follow production schedules assigned by the Production Supervisor.
- Assist in packaging and dispatch preparation.
- Learn and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Adhere to workplace safety regulations and use PPE at all times.
- Report production issues or defects to the supervisor.
- Assist in continuous improvement and 5S implementation activities.
Eligibility
- Diploma or ITI students/graduates in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Automobile, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Final-year engineering students are also encouraged to apply.
- Freshers are welcome.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Willingness to perform hands-on shop floor work.
- Good observation and learning ability.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Positive attitude and discipline.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring instruments is an added advantage.
