Job Summary
PKI - A PKI Architect at Husqvarna Group is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing the company’s Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and related cryptographic services. This role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant certificate and key‑management capabilities that support Husqvarna Group’s digital ecosystem across manufacturing, connected products, enterprise IT, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Role Summary A PKI Architect at Husqvarna Group is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing the company’s Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and related cryptographic services. This role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant certificate and key‑management capabilities that support Husqvarna Group’s digital ecosystem across manufacturing, connected products, enterprise IT, and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Design & Architecture - Develop and maintain PKI architecture tailored to Husqvarna Group’s hybrid environment (on‑prem ADCS, Azure, AWS). - Define standards and policies following internal GIS security frameworks and industry regulations. - Ensure PKI supports secure IoT products, manufacturing systems, workforce identity, and cloud workloads. Implementation & Governance - Lead implementation of PKI services within Husqvarna Group’s infrastructure and ensure alignment with GIS governance. - Automate certificate lifecycle for servers, applications, devices, and connected products. - Maintain compliance with internal audit controls, Data Privacy Office requirements, and enterprise risk management. Collaboration & Advisory - Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure & Cloud, IAM teams, R&D Digital, and Product Development. - Support programs involving Identity & Access Management, CIAM, connected services, and secure manufacturing. - Provide expert guidance to platform owners, security architects, and engineering teams. Operations & Lifecycle Management - Oversee CA maintenance, certificate renewal processes, HSM usage, key rotation, and incident handling. - Support cyber‑defense teams with cryptographic risk analysis and vulnerability mitigation. - Ensure availability and resilience of PKI services supporting global operations. Qualifications & Skills Required - Expertise in PKI technologies including CA/RA, HSM, certificate templates, OCSP/CRL. - Experience with Microsoft ADCS, Azure Key Vault, AWS KMS. - Understanding of IAM, Zero Trust, and Husqvarna’s cloud security patterns. - Strong knowledge of cryptography and enterprise security architecture. Preferred - Experience with certificate automation such as Sectigo Certificate Manager - CISSP, CCSP, or Microsoft Security certifications. Soft Skills - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across GIS, R&D, and product organizations. - Structured, analytical, and able to operate in a global matrix environment. - Comfortable leading complex initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
