The F&B Service Trainee is responsible for assisting in food and beverage service operations while learning hospitality service standards and guest handling procedures. The role involves supporting restaurant and banquet operations, maintaining cleanliness and service quality, and developing practical skills in food and beverage service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily restaurant, banquet, and room service operations.
- Support service staff in providing prompt and courteous guest service.
- Help in table setup, clearing, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas.
- Learn and follow standard food and beverage service procedures.
- Assist in taking guest orders and serving food and beverages under supervision.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure proper grooming and professional behavior during duty hours.
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in all service areas.
- Support banquet events, conferences, and special functions as assigned.
- Learn billing, cashiering, and POS system operations.
- Attend training sessions and follow guidance from supervisors and captains.
- Assist in maintaining guest satisfaction through courteous and attentive service.
Qualifications & Skills
- Fresh graduates or diploma holders preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn hospitality operations.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic understanding of guest service and teamwork.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional conduct.
Preferred Skills
- Internship or industrial training experience in hotels or restaurants preferred.
- Interest in restaurant and banquet operations.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to operational requirements.
- Understanding of hospitality etiquette and service standards.
Compensation
- Stipend: ₹10,000 per month during the training period.
