Role & Responsibilities of a Disaster Management Trainer
A Disaster Management Trainer is responsible for educating individuals and organizations on disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and risk reduction.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Conduct Training Programs
- Plan and deliver disaster management training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs.
- Train employees, students, communities, and emergency response teams.
2. Develop Training Materials
- Prepare training manuals, presentations, handouts, and practical exercises.
- Update training content according to current disaster management guidelines and regulations.
3. Emergency Preparedness Training
- Educate participants on disaster preparedness measures.
- Teach evacuation procedures, emergency communication, and safety protocols.
4. Organize Mock Drills
- Conduct fire drills, earthquake drills, evacuation drills, and other emergency simulations.
- Evaluate participants' performance and provide feedback for improvement.
5. Risk Assessment Awareness
- Train individuals to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Promote preventive measures to reduce disaster impact.
6. Monitoring & Evaluation
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and performance reports.
7. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure training programs comply with government regulations and disaster management standards.
8. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare training reports and recommendations.
- Document drill results, participant feedback, and improvement plans.

Educational Qualification:
- Minimum graduate in art/science/commerce/technology or related field and certificate diploma in Disaster Management.
- Experience - 6 Months to 2 years experience in disaster management and related trainings.
- Salary - 25K to 35K
- Location - Pan Maharashtra
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
