Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and quality-focused Quality Manager to lead and oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities in our snacks manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in FMCG food manufacturing, strong knowledge of food safety standards, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other applicable food safety standards.
- Monitor incoming raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality compliance.
- Conduct routine quality inspections, audits, and process validations.
- Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain quality documentation, SOPs, specifications, and quality records.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, R&D, and Maintenance teams to improve product quality and process efficiency.
- Lead internal and external quality audits.
- Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices across the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory testing equipment.
- Train production and quality teams on food safety, quality standards, and SOPs.
- Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce product defects and wastage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, or Food Safety Management Systems will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
- At least 3 years in a managerial role within an FMCG food/snacks manufacturing company.
- Experience in handling quality audits and regulatory inspections.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety Standards and Regulatory Compliance.
- Good understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and food quality parameters.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
