Job Summary:

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding customer base, and managing client relationships within an assigned geographical area. This role requires a proactive sales professional with deep industry knowledge in biotech or chemical cleaning products, and the ability to drive growth through strategic engagement and effective sales execution.

Location: Ahmedabad , Patna , Kolkata , Kochi, Jabalpur / Bhopal , Guwahati , Chennai
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager / Head – Sales

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales of biotech-based chemical cleaning products in the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities across industrial, institutional, and healthcare segments.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributors, resellers, and end-users.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Ensure excellent after-sales service and customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategy.
- Report on territory performance, customer developments, and pipeline status.
Sales Execution:
- Organize product demonstrations, training sessions, and promotional events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns in the territory.
- Maintain accurate sales records using CRM tools.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, technical, finance) to ensure seamless delivery and service.
- Share market insights and contribute to overall sales planning.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotech, or related field. MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
Experience: 3–6 years of field sales experience, preferably in biotech, chemical, or industrial cleaning product sectors.
