Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified AYUSH Medical Officer (BAMS/BUMS) with experience in Gynaecology and Reproductive Health. The candidate will be responsible for providing OPD consultations, patient assessment, treatment, counselling, follow-up care, and maintaining accurate medical records in accordance with applicable clinical and AYUSH guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct OPD consultations and take detailed medical and gynaecological history.
- Assess and examine patients and identify their healthcare needs.
- Provide appropriate AYUSH-based consultation and treatment within the scope of qualification and applicable regulations.
- Handle routine gynaecology and reproductive-health-related cases.
- Provide counselling related to menstrual health, reproductive health, pregnancy-related awareness, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
- Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate follow-up care.
- Identify cases requiring specialist intervention and ensure timely referral to a qualified specialist/higher centre.
- Maintain proper patient records, prescriptions, consultation notes, and follow-up documentation.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in health camps, screening programs, awareness drives, and community outreach activities.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow professional medical ethics.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, patient-safety standards, and applicable AYUSH regulations.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and patient-centric approach.
- Perform other clinical responsibilities assigned by the Medical Superintendent/Hospital Management.
Gynaecology & Reproductive Health Experience
Candidates with practical experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- General gynaecological OPD consultation.
- Menstrual and reproductive health counselling.
- Management of common gynaecological health complaints within the scope of qualification.
- Antenatal and postnatal counselling/support, where applicable and within professional scope.
- Family planning and reproductive health counselling.
- Reproductive health screening and awareness programs.
- Patient counselling regarding nutrition, lifestyle, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
- Identification and referral of complicated/high-risk cases to appropriate specialists.
Eligibility
- BAMS – Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, or
- BUMS – Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery, from a recognized institution/university.
- Valid registration with the respective medical council/board, wherever applicable.
- Internship completion as applicable.
- Prior experience in Gynaecology/Reproductive Health will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and medical documentation skills preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
