How you'll make an impact
Responsibilities:

Ensures a comprehensive Human Resource service is provided for single or multiple locations within their designated area.

This position is a central contact for senior leaders regarding HR operational issues, employee relations, organizational change, and performance management.
- Assess effectiveness of HR practices and policies. Seeks opportunities to improve programs and provide recommendations to increase employee productivity and commitment.

Reviews and identifies employee relations trends and reports. Advises management and HR partners on trend analysis including options for action planning. Key responsibilities include:

Planning, communicating and administering policies relating to all phases of human resources activity for a region,
- Implementing recruitment best practice,

Implementing a talent management strategy for the region (talent pipelines, development plans, succession plans, workforce planning, etc.),
- Supporting compliance with applicable labor laws and making appropriate policy and procedural recommendations,
- Providing HR guidance when appropriate,
- Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues,
- Conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations,
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day engagement of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Develops solutions based on subject expertise and occasionally represents the department or function at a broader level.
- May provide guidance to lower level staff, but has no formal supervisory responsibility.
About you
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience required.
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred:
-
Master's degree preferred.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- PHR/SPHR certification desirable.
Behaviors:

Above average verbal and written communication skills necessary.
- Good interpersonal skills required.
