About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our QA team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks while ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Perform API testing using Postman and RestAssured
- Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies through the defect lifecycle
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of features
API Testing
- Validate RESTful APIs for functionality, reliability, performance, and security
- Create and manage API test collections in Postman
- Automate API test suites using RestAssured
General
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies — sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies
- Prepare and maintain test documentation and MIS reports
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of hands-on automation testing experience
- Strong proficiency in Playwright (JavaScript-based)
- Hands-on experience with Postman and RestAssured for API testing
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with Git and version control practices
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
