Role Overview
Roswalt Realty is looking for an experienced and highly organised Operations Lead to manage end-to-end payroll and employee operations across its construction and real estate business.
The role requires hands-on experience managing payroll for a mixed workforce, including blue-collar site employees, daily-wage or contract labour and white-collar corporate staff. The candidate will also be responsible for employee database management, statutory compliance, onboarding, induction and HR operations across multiple sites and the corporate office.
The ideal candidate should have strong process discipline, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage high employee volumes accurately.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for blue-collar, daily-wage, contract and white-collar employees.
- Handle attendance and wage calculations for site and daily-wage workers.
- Manage muster rolls, biometric attendance or app-based attendance systems.
- Calculate overtime, incentives, deductions, leave adjustments and payable days accurately.
- Ensure timely and accurate salary and wage disbursement.
- Coordinate with Finance for payroll processing and payment release.
- Manage full and final settlements, exit calculations and related documentation.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee salary-related queries.
- Ensure proper payroll controls and minimise calculation errors.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, minimum wages and applicable labour laws.
- Maintain statutory records and employee documentation for site and contract workers.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams for compliance requirements.
- Ensure payroll and employee records remain complete and audit-ready.
- Monitor compliance requirements across multiple construction sites.
Employee Database and Records Management
- Maintain an accurate and centralised employee database.
- Manage employee records across the complete employee lifecycle.
- Update records for new joiners, confirmations, transfers, promotions and exits.
- Maintain records for blue-collar, contract and white-collar employees.
- Ensure all offer letters, employment contracts, KYC documents and statutory forms are complete.
- Conduct regular data checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain employee files and digital records in an organised manner.
Induction and Onboarding
- Design, manage and improve the employee induction and onboarding process.
- Coordinate documentation, employee ID creation, access setup and policy briefings.
- Ensure smooth onboarding for both site-level and corporate employees.
- Coordinate with department heads for role-specific orientation.
- Track completion of joining formalities and documentation.
- Ensure a consistent onboarding experience across all employee categories and locations.
HR Operations and Process Management
- Coordinate HR and payroll operations across construction sites and the corporate office.
- Work closely with site teams, contractors, HR, Finance and business stakeholders.
- Maintain HR operations trackers and regular reports.
- Prepare management dashboards related to headcount, payroll cost, attrition and compliance.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements.
- Introduce controls to improve payroll accuracy and reduce turnaround time.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure HR operations are completed within defined timelines.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in HR operations and payroll.
- Relevant experience in the construction or real estate industry is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience managing payroll for blue-collar, daily-wage, contract and white-collar employees.
- Experience handling site-level employee attendance and wage calculations.
- Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, minimum wages and labour-law compliance.
- Experience managing employee databases and documentation.
- Experience designing or managing employee induction and onboarding processes.
- Proficiency in HRMS, payroll software and MS Excel.
- Ability to manage large employee volumes across multiple sites.
- Strong coordination, reporting and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates currently working with a real estate developer, construction company, EPC organisation or infrastructure company.
- Strong exposure to managing both site-level and corporate employees.
- Experience handling high-volume payroll across multiple projects or sites.
- Comfortable coordinating with site teams, contractors, Finance and senior management.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven and capable of working under strict payroll timelines.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
