Role Summary
We are looking for a DCS Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in Honeywell Experion PKS systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in engineering, configuration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance support of DCS systems, preferably for Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, or process industry projects.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for DCS engineering activities related to Honeywell Experion systems, including:
- Configuration of Honeywell Experion PKS system including C300 controllers, Series C I/O, HMI graphics, alarms, trends, and history.
- Preparation and review of engineering documents such as I/O list, system architecture, control narratives, logic diagrams, loop drawings, FAT/SAT procedures, and test reports.
- Development and modification of control logic, interlocks, sequence logic, and graphics as per project requirements.
- Support in Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Coordination with clients, consultants, OEMs, and internal project teams for technical inputs and project execution.
- Carrying out system health checks, backup, restoration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of Experion systems.
- Supporting migration, upgrade, and modification jobs for existing DCS systems.
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Preparing red-line markups, as-built documentation, and commissioning reports
Required Skills
- Hands-on knowledge of Honeywell Experion PKS.
- Basic understanding of C300 controller, Series C I/O, Control Builder, HMIWeb Display Builder, Quick Builder, and Station configuration.
- Knowledge of DCS architecture, networking, Modbus, OPC, Profibus/Foundation Fieldbus will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and understand P&ID, control narratives, cause & effect diagrams, logic diagrams, and loop drawings.
- Good troubleshooting skills for DCS hardware, software, communication, and field interface issues.
- Basic understanding of process control loops, PID tuning, alarms, trends, and interlocks.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, chemical, or power sector projects.
- Exposure to site commissioning, shutdown jobs, AMC support, or DCS migration projects.
- Experience with Honeywell Experion C300 / C200 / TPS migration will be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
