About the Opportunity
We are launching a signature Kerala cuisine restaurant in Sri Lanka, introducing authentic Kerala flavors for the first time in the region. We are seeking skilled and passionate Chefs / Cooks from Kerala to be part of this exciting international venture.
Position:
Chef / Cook – Kerala Cuisine Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and present authentic Kerala dishes with consistency and high quality
· Maintain traditional taste, hygiene, and food safety standards
· Assist in menu planning and kitchen operations
· Ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimize wastage
· Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service team
Eligibility Criteria:
· Minimum 8+ years of experience in a reputed local hotel/restaurant in Kerala
· Strong expertise in authentic Kerala cuisine preparation
· Good understanding of traditional recipes, spices, and cooking techniques
· Basic English communication skills (for workplace interaction)
· Ability to work in an international environment
Salary & Benefits:
· Salary: Negotiable and above the industry standards. (details will be discussed during the interview)
