Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy, result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) who thrives at the intersection of technology, creativity, and strategy. In this role, you will be the driving force behind Digiwinc’s growth. You will be responsible for end-to-end business development: from hunting and qualifying fresh leads to building strategic brand relationships and closing high-value projects across our entire service spectrum (Web/App, AR/VR, and Digital Marketing).
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Identify, prospect, and qualify net-new business opportunities through outbound channels (LinkedIn, cold outreach, networking events, and industry tech expos).
- Leverage existing networks and build a robust, sustainable pipeline of enterprise clients, brands, and startups.
- Understand market trends to identify niche sectors ripe for AR/VR experiential marketing or digital transformation.
2. Client Consultation & Solution Pitching
- Act as a consultative partner to prospective clients, deeply understanding their business challenges and mapping them to Digiwinc’s technical capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with internal design, technical, and strategy teams to craft high-impact pitches, proposals, and project roadmaps.
- Present and articulate complex technical concepts (like immersive tech frameworks or performance marketing models) in a logical, ROI-driven, and accessible manner to C-level executives.
3. Deal Closure & Revenue Ownership
- Own the entire sales lifecycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and final sign-off.
- Structure commercial proposals, define project scopes, and negotiate pricing models to ensure healthy project profitability.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
4. Relationship & Account Management
- Ensure a seamless transition of newly closed accounts to the Project Management and Delivery teams.
- Maintain long-term relationships with key clients to foster account retention, up-selling, and cross-selling opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business (BBA/MBA), Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 4+ years of proven track record in business development or account acquisition within an IT services company, digital agency, or experiential tech studio.
- Domain Expertise: Familiarity with the lifecycle of custom software/web/app development, digital marketing ecosystems, and a strong foundational understanding of AR, VR, and immersive technologies.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a "subtle, logical, and persuasive" approach to corporate storytelling.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to handle objections, negotiate complex contracts, and close deals with high contract values (ACV).
- Tools: Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and presentation tools.
