We are looking for a data-driven Performance Marketing Manager who can independently plan, execute and optimise paid advertising campaigns for multiple clients.
Role Overview
The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads.
The ideal candidate should have strong campaign execution skills, analytical thinking and the ability to convert business objectives into measurable advertising strategies. This role requires hands-on campaign management, client communication, performance reporting and continuous optimisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesPaid Advertising Management
- Plan, create, launch and manage paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Manage Search, Performance Max, Shopping, Display, YouTube, lead generation, remarketing and conversion-focused campaigns.
- Develop campaign strategies based on client objectives, target audiences, budgets and expected outcomes.
- Conduct keyword research, audience research and competitor advertising analysis.
- Create campaign structures, ad groups, audience segments and remarketing funnels.
- Write and test high-converting ad headlines, descriptions and calls to action.
- Monitor campaign budgets, bids, targeting, placements and delivery on a daily basis.
- Perform ongoing A/B testing of advertisements, audiences, landing pages and campaign strategies.
Campaign Optimisation
- Optimise campaigns to improve ROAS, CPA, CPL, CAC, CTR and conversion rate.
- Identify underperforming campaigns and take corrective action.
- Analyse search terms, placements, audiences, devices, locations and dayparting performance.
- Implement negative keywords and audience exclusions to reduce wasted advertising spend.
- Recommend budget allocation based on campaign and channel performance.
- Build full-funnel advertising strategies covering awareness, consideration, conversion and remarketing.
Tracking and Analytics
- Set up and verify conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager, GA4, Meta Pixel and Conversion API.
- Ensure lead, purchase, enquiry, call and other important events are tracked accurately.
- Create campaign dashboards and performance reports.
- Analyse website and landing-page behaviour to identify conversion barriers.
- Work with website and creative teams to improve landing-page conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate campaign naming conventions, UTM parameters and reporting structures.
Client Management
- Understand each client’s business model, audience, products, margins and growth objectives.
- Present campaign strategies, results, insights and recommendations to clients.
- Conduct regular client review meetings.
- Explain campaign performance in clear and simple business language.
- Set realistic expectations regarding budgets, timelines, lead quality and results.
- Respond proactively to client questions and performance concerns.
- Build strong and long-term client relationships.
Team and Agency Responsibilities
- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, copywriters and website developers.
- Prepare clear creative briefs based on campaign requirements.
- Review advertisements and landing pages before campaigns go live.
- Guide junior performance marketing executives.
- Maintain campaign checklists, reporting templates and quality-control processes.
- Manage multiple client accounts, deadlines and advertising budgets simultaneously.
- Stay updated with platform policies, algorithm changes and new advertising features.

Required Skills and Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing or paid advertising.
- Previous experience working in a digital marketing or advertising agency.
- Strong practical knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts and advertising budgets.
- Strong understanding of campaign funnels, audiences, bidding and remarketing.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Understanding of Meta Pixel, Conversion API and event tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret campaign data and convert it into actionable recommendations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with e-commerce and lead-generation campaigns.
- Experience with Google Merchant Center and Shopping campaigns.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Ads, Amazon Ads or marketplace advertising.
- Understanding of landing-page optimisation and conversion-rate optimisation.
- Experience with Looker Studio or other reporting tools.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and offline conversion tracking.
- Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications are preferred.
