Job Title: Hospital IT Executive

1. Job Summary
· Design, implement, and manage the hospital's entire IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cabling, and wireless systems.
· Install, configure, and maintain all hardware (computers, printers, scanners, servers) and software applications.
· Ensure high availability and reliability of all IT systems, especially critical clinical applications like Hospital Information System (HIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across all systems.
· Serve as the primary administrator for the Hospital Information System (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and other clinical software.
· Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for all IT-related issues reported by clinical and administrative staff.
· Train end-users on the effective use of hospital software applications and IT systems.
Coordinate with software vendors for advanced support, updates, and system enhancements.
· Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
· Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all electronic protected health information (e-PHI) in compliance with data protection regulations.
· Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures for all users.
Manage data backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
· Assist in developing the IT budget and plan for future technology upgrades and expansions.
· Research and recommend new technologies that can improve hospital efficiency and patient care.
· Manage relationships with IT vendors, internet service providers, and hardware/software suppliers.
· Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets and software licenses.
2 . Qualifications and Experience
· Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Certification: Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
· Experience: 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in a healthcare/hospital setting.
· Non-Negotiable Experience:
o Proven hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and other healthcare applications.
o Strong knowledge of networking, server management, and cybersecurity principles.
o Experience in managing IT infrastructure in a healthcare environment with understanding of medical data privacy requirements.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in critical healthcare situations.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
