Workshop Manager & Project Coordinator – Interiors & Furniture
We are looking for a highly creative and hands-on professional with strong experience in interior projects, furniture design/manufacturing, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the workshop team for custom furniture, interiors, and product manufacturing projects.
- Plan and supervise production from concept/design to final execution.
- Coordinate with the Sales Team to understand client requirements and convert them into a practical manufacturing plan.
- Prepare and manage Sales vs. Manufacturing planning based on confirmed orders and upcoming projects.
- Plan and arrange raw materials, hardware, fittings, and other production requirements.
- Coordinate with designers, sales, warehouse, purchase, and production teams for smooth execution.
- Take ownership of projects from production through client-site installation and setup.
- Visit client sites, understand site conditions, and ensure the final setup is completed as per the approved design and project requirements.
- Ensure products/projects are completed within the committed timeline without compromising on quality.
- Lead the workshop team, allocate work, monitor productivity, and resolve day-to-day production challenges.
- Bring creative and innovative ideas for furniture, interiors, materials, finishes, and product execution.
- Ensure proper quality control, finishing, measurements, and workmanship before dispatch.
- Track project progress and proactively address delays, material shortages, or execution issues.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong experience in Interiors / Furniture / Custom Furniture / Modular Furniture / Product Manufacturing.
- Should have a highly creative mindset with a strong understanding of design, materials, finishes, and practical execution.
- Hands-on experience in workshop/production management and site execution.
- Ability to understand drawings/design concepts and convert them into production-ready solutions.
- Strong project coordination and team-management skills.
- Should be comfortable travelling to client sites for project execution and installation.
- Experience handling customised and innovative furniture/interior projects will be highly preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
