CNC Operator – Job Description
Position: CNC Operator
Experience: 1 to 5 years
Industry: Manufacturing / Bearings / Engineering
Location: Rajkot, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines (Turning / Milling / Grinding as applicable).
Read and interpret engineering drawings, gauges, and measuring instruments.
Load raw materials, set tools, and adjust machine parameters.
Maintain correct tool offsets, speeds, and feeds.
Inspect parts using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
Perform basic program editing (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas).
Conduct in-process checks and ensure parts meet quality standards.
Maintain daily production reports and machine logs.
Follow 5S, safety, and TPM practices.
Coordinate with QA and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Machinist / Fitter / Turner.
Hands-on experience in CNC operations.
Knowledge of G-code / M-code (preferred).
Basic problem-solving & machine troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in shifts.
