Role Overview:
The ELV Project Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end execution of installation, testing, and commissioning of CCTV and Access Control systems across multiple project sites. The role involves coordination with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute installation of CCTV Surveillance Systems (IP/Analog Cameras, NVRs/DVRs)
- Install and configure Access Control Systems (Biometric, RFID, Controllers, Door Locks)
- Handle site survey, BOQ validation, and technical feasibility checks
- Coordinate with warehouse team for material dispatch as per approved BOQ
- Supervise technicians and subcontractors at site
- Ensure proper cabling (CAT6, fiber, control cables) and termination standards
- Perform testing, commissioning, and system integration
- Maintain project documentation (drawings, reports, handover documents)
- Track project progress and update internal stakeholders regularly
- Identify and resolve site-level technical and operational issues
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV & Access Control)
- Familiarity with brands like Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell, Bosch, etc.
- Understanding of networking basics (IP addressing, switching, routing basics)
- Ability to read CAD drawings and schematics
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Vendor and team coordination abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
- Certification in CCTV / Access Control systems is an added advantage
